Happy New Year

Hi everyone, and welcome to 2011.
Hubby and I spent Christmas with our younger son David and his lovely partner Claire, while our older son Justin was having fun kite surfing over in W.A. We missed him like crazy of course, and will make up for his absence on his return.

We have a room in our home that has been a ‘nothing’ type room and quite dark. One of our sons had it as a bedroom years ago and we jokingly referred to it as the ‘cave room’. Recently a builder friend made a window type opening in one wall to enable more light in and open up the room, and what a difference it has made. It is situated right next door to our computer area and my craft room, and is just like an extension of that area. I call it my ‘studio’ which will enable me to conduct classes here at my home, although I am still very happy to come to you. I can accommodate up to 6 ladies or even 1 or 2, your choice. Phone or email me anytime.

Holiday rest

Hi everyone. Hope you all  enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with your families, and Santa was kind to you. I'd like to wish everyone a healthy and happy 2011.
I'm taking a short break over the holiday period and will be up and posting very soon.
I hope you like my new blog; it has been made possible with thanks to Kelly-ann and Danielle, my 2 amazing computer savvy girlfriends. Hugs to you both.

Norfolk Island holiday

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday on Norfolk Island, where I celebrated a rather special birthday. I wanted to share a couple of photos with you.
This is to show some of the rugged coastline the island offers and of course Norfolk Pine trees.

We visited a winery (of course!) and while enjoying a glass of wine, lunch was served. When it arrived I commented  that it looked like a piece of art, which is why I am sharing a photo of it with you. Everything was edible, down to the Lavender and Begonia flowers. It made the end of our holiday very special.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and hope that 2011 will be special for you all.

Dasher on a Chocolate Box

I recently made this gift box,  which I filled with chocolates, for one of my workshop Hostesses. It uses the Stampin'Up! Big Shot Top Note die and of course the gorgeous Stampin'Up!  Dasher stamp, which is available for purchase in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue.

(Heh Kel! I did it!!!)

Birthday card for a Friend

My girlfriend Judy recently celebrated her birthday and this is the card I made for her.
It uses the 2-Step Flower Fancy stamp set.

Tis the Season

Made some Christmas cards today using the fabulous  Stampin'Up! stamp set 'Holiday Lineup'. Thought it would make a fitting first post for my new blog (thanks heaps Kel for guiding me through - what would I do without you). I find it an oldie but a goody. You can do all sorts of cards with it.

If you would like to purchase this set it's only $38.95, or come and have a play with mine.

Either way, feel free to contact me via my email.
